Althea Fitness Class reopening during Covid-19

   Thank you for being loyal clients (four years) in the Playhouse Room at Darby Park. The health and safety of our clients, customers, park employees, and community are a top priority. 

    For the past three months, we’ve been monitoring the situation regarding COVID-19. Gyms and fitness centers were allowed to reopen (and recently closed again) with stringent policies, procedures, and precautions required by public health officials. However, we feel that reopening Althea Fitness class is too soon. Since Darby Park is a public park, we’re unable to develop and enforce policies and procedures to minimize risks.

    Effective today, June 16, 2020, we won’t reopen Althea Fitness class until we feel it’s safe again for everyone at the park. January 2021 is a possible reopening.
