Best Ways To Get Rid Of Cellulite

In this new millennium, women of all sizes, ages, and colors are wearing tights, skirts, tight jeans, one-piece bathing suits, and bikinis. As a result a dimpled or cottage cheese appearance is on display on their hips, thighs, abs, and butt. What is that dimpled or cottage cheese appearance called? Cellulite.
Before I share the best ways to get rid of cellulite, here’s some background about it.
The term cellulite emerged in the 1920s. It has several medical names – adiposis, edematous, orange peel syndrome, etc. Cellulite is simply fat declaring itself underneath the skin. A lot of the body fat is stored beneath the skin – strands of connective fiber separate fat cells into units or compartments. When the fat cells grow in size they protrude. As a result it gives the skin a dimpled appearance in people’s hips, thighs, abs, and butt.
Studies found that hormones, diet, lifestyle, and genetics play a role in the development of cellulite.
People can develop cellulite depending on three things:
1-The amount of fat in the body.
2-The thickness of the skin.
3-The strength of the connective fiber.
Unfortunately, for women, the fibers are tightly draw (like a rope), the skin is thin, and the layer of fat between the fibers are usually protruding. Fortunately for men, the skin is thicker and the fibers are more flexible. As a result the layer of fat is evenly contained. There’s no dimpled appearance, however.
How can we get rid of cellulite? Many people want the easiest way to get rid of cellulite. They simply want to dissolve the fat and smooth the skin. So, an array of treatments are used, but they don’t work. For example lotions, creams, rubber suit, etc.
The best ways to get rid of cellulite is proper diet, regular exercise – cardio and strength training. I heard you ask, “Why strength training?” As we age, we lose functional lean muscle mass. in fact, we lose about 3% per decade. The strength training will make your muscles strong and firm, and burn more calories while you sleep and watch TV. Plus, burning calories makes you lose fat.
HOT TIP: Our muscles have fat on top of them. If the muscles are weak, thin, or less firm, the layers of fat no longer have a firm base. As a result, the fat moves in any direction it wants to.
A good example of this is ceramic tiles on the floor without a mortarboard foundation. After constant foot traffic on it, the tiles become loose and start to crack.
In summary, the best ways to get rid of cellulite is a heathy diet, regular cardio and strength training exercise.
